Patch Improvements

Below are listed all of the improvements that each patch adds over the previous version of Boy Racer and all patches installed previously. Each patch is unique, so it is adviced you downlaod and install them all from the downlaods page:

Patch 1 (12-05-2007)

1. Added support for older hardware (allowing those with pixel shader 1.0 graphics cards to play the game on the low shader option). See compatibility list for more information.
2. Speeded up loading times.
3. Sorted out modding garage car loading, and arranged cars in performance order (slowest first).
4. Can now get to level 2 in story mode, without exiting to main menu then loading the game.
5. Softened the cars suspension and made high speed handling less responsive (above 60mph).
6. Added traction control!
7. Smoothed out motorway track tarmac for a less jerky drive in parts.
8. Improved the introduction video (Corrected the spelling of Bun’s name and fixed a few rough edges).
